Deane Parkhurst joins Remembrance Productions following a long career in marketing, radio and television. Following service in The U.S. Army Signal Corps, Deane began his professional life in radio as an announcer and news reporter at stations in New York State. The radio experience led to an assignment as co-host of an early morning television program featuring topics of general interest and news. In that capacity he conducted countless interviews of well known, and not so well known individuals ranging from everyday folks enjoying their fifteen minutes of fame to Ronald and Nancy Reagan. Advancing in the field of broadcasting he was transferred to the Kansas City area to work with the KCMO AM & FM radio stations.
Deane will facilitate most of the on-camera interview segments produced by Remembrance Productions.
Residents of Olathe KS, Deane and his wife Barbara are active in their church; enjoy travel, semi-gourmet cooking and all things musical. They are the parents of three sons and spend as much time as possible with their four grandsons.
