Step 1. The process starts by understanding the life of the person the biography is based on (The Honorary). Our production designers immerse themselves into the life of the honorary, first understanding who they are and designing the story you want told through a series of face to face meetings with key participants. We work closely with you the (Client) to determine the style & theme of the biography desired. Biographies can be chronological or theme based on a custom design.
Step 2. We then schedule and conduct the video interviews with the honorary and key participants, on location (anywhere in the United States). Once the interviews are completed, we begin the post production process.
Step 3. Next, we spend considerable time working with (Client &Honorary) creating, collecting, designing and assessing all content that will be included in the biography production. Video Biographies typically include the following;
Honorary - Video Interview Footage (with/without on-camera professional interviewer)
Family & Friends - Video Interviews of additional biography participants
Pictures from your photo album(s) (We digitally restore the photos)
Generated Media (Location & Set Projection, 3D Graphics, Visual Imagery, Theme Segues, Titling)
Home Movies (VHS, 8mm, Super 8 etc. digitally restored, color balanced etc.)
Music Compilations
Historical Research & Media Content
Narration
Step 4. We organize the production content and create a storyboard and outline of the presentation flow and present it to the (Client). Most of our production expectations are managed during this phase of the production. If the (Client) determined in Step #1 that documented historical accuracy was important, we begin the research & validation process.
Step 5. We then perform the production editing & content restoration. This process produces a "Draft" version of the biography that is then reviewed with the (Client). (Final changes are agreed upon at this phase of the production lifecycle)
Step 6. The final mastering of the DVD design, incorporation of the music compilations and special features are completed and burned to a master DVD that will work on all consumer DVD players. We then design the artwork for the DVD and DVD packaging
Step 7. Delivery to the Client.
